Who We Are

Project Loving Life, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Each year we hosts a community gala and luncheon fundraiser. We are an advocate for the Women’s Cancer Resource Center, the funds raised from our Annual Gala and Luncheon provides financial support for the Women's Cancer Resource Center's (WCRC) Sister-to-Sister program, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Their services include counseling and support groups, patient navigation, financial assistance grants, information & referral services, wellness classes and workshops. All of WCRC’s services are 100% free, and 100% funded by charitable giving.

The Women’s Cancer Resource Center also helps individuals with cancer improve their quality of life through education, supportive services, and practical assistance. They help individuals from various backgrounds and cultures navigate through the often overwhelming health care system to get the appropriate care and treatment they need.

What We Do

Our mission is dedicated to helping ensure that all people impacted by cancer get the appropriate care and treatment they need.

The WCRC’s provides direct services to women with any type of cancer, background, economic ability, and ethnicity. 80% of their clients have low income and 67% are people of color. They serve more than 2,000 people annually. Over the past years, we have donated a total of more than $85,000 in support of the Sister to Sister program.

Our goal this year is to raise $20,000 on behalf of the Women’s Cancer Resource Center’s Sister to Sister Program. However, we need your support to achieve this goal. A donation of any amount is welcomed, and each gift makes a difference in the lives of women diagnosed with cancer. As a donor, your name and company logo will be listed on our website as a partner/sponsor.

Save The Date: Our 15th Annual Gala and Luncheon celebrating cancer survivors will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at SDES Alvarado Hall, 30846 Watkins Street, Union City, CA 94587, 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
